Handguns cannot be listed on the Trading Post! There are also a few other restrictions:
Yard sales must be written in and must include the complete street address for the event as well as the dates and times involved. We are unable to give directions to your yard sale and do not list items featured at yard sales.
Mobile homes and real estate (including homes and other structures) must also be mailed in or dropped off at our studios.
Produce, animals, plants, and firewood for sale as well as babysitting, lawn care services, rental property and other business (for profit) activities are not permitted to be broadcast free of charge. You can, however, list animals, plants and firewood that you are giving away at no cost to you. Call our business office at (251) 943-7131 during normal business hours Monday through Friday for more information on Trading Post advertising rates.
Public service announcements cannot be phoned in to the Trading Post. They must be submitted in writing and will be aired at an appropriate time. Please send them two weeks in advance of an event for maximum airtime.
These rules are subject to change as needed and we reserve the right to refuse to list an item on the air at any time for any reason. WHEP, Stewart Broadcasting Company, and its management and staff are not responsible for items submitted by our listeners or claims made by those listing items on the Trading Post. As with any purchase, use good judgment when making a decision whether to buy or not.
