As the longest-running affiliate on the Auburn Network (our 66th season!), we air Auburn Tiger football, basketball and baseball broadcasts throughout the year. WHEP is also the regional affiliate for Atlanta Falcons Football, Troy Trojan Football, Atlanta Braves Baseball, and Westwood One Sports, along with local high school sports coverage.
WHEP is deeply-rooted and involved in the community. Our president and general manager, Clark Stewart, is a past-president of the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce, Foley Rotary Club and Foley Quarterback Club. He has served on a number of other boards and has been honored as the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce “Walton Vines Free Enterprise Person of the Year.” In 2014, he was inducted into the Baldwin County Varsity Coaches Association Hall of Fame for sports broadcasting. He currently serves on the boards of the South Baldwin Healthcare Authority, South Baldwin Education Foundation, Pride Touchdown Club, South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce and the Alabama Broadcasters Association. Vice president and office/traffic manager Patti Stewart has headed a number of church, school and community projects and has served on a number of local boards including the Lighthouse Domestic Violence Shelter. Morning host Glenn Cornelius is a member of the Foley Kiwanis Club and works with numerous other groups in helping them promote their various community projects and activities. Advertising sales representative Sonny Allen works with local groups in support of military veterans and police officers.
